Welcome to Abbott Shippers LLC (“Abbott Shippers,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). By using our website, requesting a quote, booking transport, or otherwise engaging our services, you (“Customer,” “you,” or “your”) agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully.
Abbott Shippers LLC is a licensed and bonded auto transport broker, arranging vehicle shipments between customers and qualified motor carriers.
We do not own or operate trucks, and we do not transport vehicles directly. Instead, we connect you with carriers who are licensed, insured, and authorized by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA).
All quotes provided are good-faith estimates based on current market conditions, vehicle details, distance, and carrier availability.
Final prices may vary depending on changes in carrier costs, scheduling, fuel prices, weather, or unforeseen circumstances.
A quote is not a binding contract until confirmed and scheduled with a carrier.
A deposit may be required to reserve a carrier and confirm your shipment.
The remaining balance is due upon delivery, payable directly to the assigned carrier in the form(s) accepted (typically cash, certified funds, or agreed-upon electronic payment).
All deposits are processed securely and are non-refundable once a carrier has been assigned.
Pickup and delivery dates are estimates only and cannot be guaranteed due to variables such as traffic, weather, mechanical issues, or regulatory delays.
Customers should allow for flexibility of several days before and after the estimated pickup/delivery window.
Customers must disclose whether the vehicle is operable or inoperable when requesting a quote. Additional charges may apply for inoperable vehicles.
Customers are responsible for preparing vehicles for shipment, including:
Removing personal items and valuables (not covered by carrier insurance)
Securing or removing loose parts/accessories
Ensuring the vehicle is in safe operating condition (unless shipping as inoperable)
All carriers contracted through Abbott Shippers maintain active cargo insurance coverage as required by federal law.
In the event of damage during transport, claims must be filed directly with the carrier’s insurance company. Abbott Shippers will assist by providing carrier details and documentation.
Abbott Shippers is not liable for:
Damage not noted on the carrier’s Bill of Lading
Acts of nature, weather, or unforeseeable events
Delays in pickup or delivery
Personal items left in the vehicle
Customers may cancel prior to a carrier being assigned and receive a full refund of any deposit paid.
Once a carrier has been assigned, deposits are non-refundable.
If cancellation occurs after dispatch but before pickup, a partial refund may be issued at Abbott Shippers’ discretion.
Any disputes regarding transport service should first be addressed directly with Abbott Shippers for resolution.
Formal complaints related to a carrier may also be filed with the FMCSA.
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Florida.
By requesting a quote, booking a shipment, or using our website, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
